REGISTRATION, NETWORKING AND BLOG POLICY & CODE OF CONDUCT

Our mission
The WORTH Networking Platform is the largest design community in Europe where you can connect and network with other professionals and SMEs manufacturers operating in fashion and lifestyle industries to explore potential business collaborations. By joining this community, you are being part of a strong design network. You will also find relevant and inspiring content created by the community participants tackling global challenges and the way designers and SMEs can contribute with key solutions.

Networking. How does it work?
By registering on the WORTH Networking Platform, you become a community participant and will have access to the networking area formed of a gallery of a wide range of professionals and companies operating in fashion and lifestyle industries with whom you can explore potential business collaborations in textile, footwear, leather/fur, furniture/home decoration, jewelry and accessories sectors.
You can optimize the search of potential collaborators by using the search engine and filter by participant category, country and business sector. Have a look at the profiles of the community participants of your interest and send a friend request. Once the request is accepted, you will be able to exchange direct communication with other community participants and start exploring potential collaborations.
Note that the communication and data exchanged must fulfil with the community policies in terms of data protection, privacy and code of conduct.

The blog. How does it work?
To trigger further discussion and exchange of good practices and knowledge, relevant content will be published on the blog area, feel warmly invited to have a look at the publications and leave a comment. If you have any inspiring and relevant content to share with the community, do not hesitate in contacting the Editorial Team editorialteam@worthproject.eu and express your interest in writing an article or blog post.

Registration and profile
During the registration process, participants will be asked to specify a unique username and corresponding password. Through this username/password combination, participants may access their account and use the restricted areas of the site. Participants can edit or delete their profile information at any time.
Accessing the Website, requires registration by means of the Registration Procedure. This registration requires participant to submit a limited amount of personal information (compulsory fields) such as full name, e-mail address, nationality, gender, location (city and country). Only after the Registration Process is completed, participant will be granted credentials by e-mail with which access to the Website is granted.

Participant guarantees that all data relating to him or her and provided by him or her is accurate and updated if necessary. Participant agrees to keep his or her sign-in credentials safe and confidential. Participant accepts full responsibility for any actions that are committed through his or her Profile. Participant guarantees that the content shared trough the Profile is not illegal and does not infringe the rights of third parties.

Use of the Networking Website by participants for the purpose of unsolicited or unauthorized advertising (such as “spam” or “harvesting”) is not permitted. Personal data shared by other Participants through the website may not be used by the Participants for other purposes, such as sending commercial information by e-mail, facsimile, SMS, MMS, mail, messenger applications and the like. User will not circumvent or override any security measures taken by the Website.

Registration and access to the networking community do not automatically include participation and access to the Blog.

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Guest submissions policy
The blog welcomes submissions of contents for inclusion on the blog as guest posts. If accepted, they will be edited and posted by the blog team. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Pieces for submission should generally be on a current or otherwise newsworthy topic related that will be of interest to our readers and not already covered (at least in a similar manner) on the blog.
You can email submissions to the Editorial Board   at editorialteam@worthproject.eu. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of the topic that you wish to cover or your intended treatment, please feel free to e-mail the Editorial Board in advance with a summary and/or a preliminary outline.

Networking and Blog Policy
Comments will not be allowed if they contravene the Networking and Blog policy that participants’ and readers’ comments should not be obscene or defamatory; they should not consist of ad hominem attacks on participants of the blog team or other comment-posters and they should make a constructive contribution to the discussion of the post on which they purport to comment.
Comments should not be made completely anonymously, and users should use a consistent name, either in the “identity” field or at the beginning of the comment.

Any opinions expressed are those of the individual author and do not necessarily represent the views or policies of the BLOG as well as the Networking community.The Networking and the BLOG are not responsible for the
accuracy of information supplied by authors or by third-party sources.

Comments are welcome and moderated by the Editorial Board. Commentary, opinions, and reactions to all comment posts are welcome. The BLOG, reserve the right to delete comments to their respective articles deemed uncivil, off-topic, spam, or inappropriate advertisements and/or promotion.

How to complain about a comment
If you feel that your comment should not have been rejected, please email the Editorial Board at editorialteam@worthproject.eu

Email addresses
If you subscribe to the blog, we will collect your email address which may include personal data such as the whole or part of your name. The Networking and BLOG relie on their legitimate interests to process this data so that we can keep you up to date with developments as reported and for internal statistics and reporting related Worth Partnership Project. The Networking and the BLOG do not make any other use of this data. It takes care to maintain its confidentiality and does not share your data with third parties. You have the right to unsubscribe from receiving emails from the Networking and from the BLOG any time by emailing: editorialteam@worthproject.eu.  Any problems, please let the Networking and the BLOG Team know.

Names, photographs, and links
The Participants Profile and some blog posts or comments may include personal data such as the name of the person who wrote a blogpost, spoke at an event, made a comment or similar.
If you would like to have your personal data removed, please let us know by emailing editorialteam@worthproject.eu

In any you guarantee that you have the full rights/permission/consent to promote and/or publish any photos and or content and or material posted in the BLOG as well as in your Profile.
Any participant declare that all the information provided in the registration application and/or in the Profile and/or in the BLOG are true and corresponding to reality.

In any case participants undertake:
– not post unacceptable content, and to delete comments that contain it. Unacceptable content is defined as anything included or linked to that: is being used to abuse, harass, stalk, or threaten others is libellous, knowingly false, or misrepresents another person, infringes upon a copyright or trademark violates an obligation of confidentiality violates the privacy of others. Unacceptable content also depends on a case-by-case basis, and our definitions are not limited to this list;
– offer corrections when the original post contained any material that was found to be in error.

If you feel offended, you can report the Editorial Board by e-mail complaint@worthproject.eu and kindly specify the facts and reasons why you feel offended.

 

CONDITION OF USE

1. Conditions for use

By becoming a participant to the Networking and/or to the BLOG, you are agreeing to enter into l contract terms between the Networking and BLOG (as defined below and also referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”) and your Organization.  “Organization” means the business represented by you, which may only be a legal entity (such as a university or company) or you, if you are operating in your individual capacity (such as a sole proprietorship).  You also represent and warrant that you are authorized to enter into these contract terms on behalf of the Organization (collectively with the Organization, you and the other Administrators, if any, “You”).

In addition to the Service Terms, the User Agreement, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy apply to any use of our services.

2. Obligations

You will use your Organization’s real name and keep it up to date.
You will use the Networking and/or the BLOG for legal purposes.
You will comply with our “Do’s and Don’ts”.
You will be truthful about your personal data practices and comply with the laws that apply to your use of the BLOG.

2.1     Name Changes and Mergers.   You agree to accurately reflect the identity of the Organization on your Profile and/or on the BLOG and to promptly update any name changes of the Organization, including any that may result from mergers, acquisitions or other restructuring.  Please Contact Us with requests related to the Page.

2.3     Content and Conduct.  You agree that:
You will follow our “Do’s and Don’ts,” and keep content professional, respectful, relevant, and accurate.
You will only post content that is truthful and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Your Organization and You personally operate a lawful business in accordance with applicable laws.
You will ensure that all of the Organization’s actions (including by any Administrator) regarding the Profile and/or the Networking and/or the  BLOG (such as all posts, additions, and deletions) comply with all applicable laws.

2.4     Compliance with Data Policies.
Our collection, use and sharing of Your personal data is subject to our Privacy Policy (which includes our Cookie Policy and other documents referenced in the Privacy Policy) and updates.  You agree that You will comply with the Service Terms when collecting, using or otherwise processing any personal data related to the Profile and/or the Networking and/or the  BLOG.  If You process data about other participants Profile and/or the Networking and/or the  BLOG (obtained either directly from Profile and/or the Networking and/or the  BLOG, from any third-party application that has integrated with the Networking and/or the  BLOG), You must ensure that You have a legal basis for doing so and that Your processing is in compliance with applicable laws (including by clearly informing the Participants about Your processing and obtaining their unambiguous consent where necessary).  You are responsible for Your and Your agents’ processing of this data, including with respect to any secondary uses, disclosures or transfers of the data.

3. Intellectual Property

You grant the Networking and/or the  BLOG a license to the content you provide to us on the Services or suggest to us.

3.1     License.  You grant to the Networking and/or the  BLOG (and its affiliates) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use, copy, modify, distribute and publish any content You provide to the Profile and/or the Networking and/or the  BLOG.  The foregoing license survives termination of this Contract with regard to content provided prior to termination. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights (including intellectual property rights) to such content (including to grant the license above).

4. Limits

You agree that the identity of Administrators is public to others and that the BLOG may suspend, change or end the Services, or your activities in the Profile and/or the Networking and/or the  BLOG.  You also agree that we can remove, and are not obligated to store, your Profile content.

We may modify your activities in the Profile and/or the Networking and/or the BLOG in accordance with our policies.  For example, we may modify the Organization name on the Profile and add clarification statements to the Profile to address participants confusion or conflicting trademark rights or other Intellectual Property Rights.  In addition, we may (a) restrict any name change and have no obligations to perform any change, merger or other request, and (b) determine how name changes will be represented on profiles and on other references to the Organization on services.

We do not promise to store or keep showing any information and content that You have posted and/or insert in the Profile and/or in the Application for registration.  We have no obligation to store, maintain or provide You a copy of any content or information that You or others provide, except to the extent required by applicable laws and as noted in our Privacy Policy.

5. Modification and Termination

5.1 The Networking and/or the BLOG may modify these Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes, we will attempt to provide You notice through our Services (or by other means) to provide You the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. We agree that changes cannot be retroactive. If You object to any changes, You may terminate Your agreement to these Conditions (in accordance with Section 5.2).

5.2     Termination.  If You wish to terminate your Profile and/or the Networking and/or the  BLOG membership, at any time You can do so by notifying the Networking and/or the  BLOG through Contact Us editorialteam@worthproject.eu.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

The Networking and/or the  BLOG make- no representation or warranty about the services, including any representation that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. to the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates disclaim any implied or statutory warranty, including any implied warranty of title, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

These are the limits of the Networking and/or the BLOG’s legal liability for the Services.

7.1    Damages waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Networking and/or the BLOG and its affiliates will not be liable to you in connection with the services for lost profits or lost business opportunities, loss of data, or any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages.
